Open to every
visitor.

Royal Stone & Tile is committed to ensuring this website is accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at Level AA and to improve the experience continuously.

01

Conformance target

This website is designed and developed with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the World Wide Web Consortium. We target Level AA conformance and review the site against these criteria as new content is added.

02

Measures we take

Semantic page structure with proper landmarks and heading order. Keyboard-accessible navigation with a Skip to Main Content link. Visible focus indicators on every interactive element. Descriptive alternative text on photographs. Color contrast reviewed against AA thresholds. Respect for the user’s reduced-motion preference.

03

Compatibility

The site is built to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and to be operable by keyboard alone. It is intended to be usable with common assistive technologies, including screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS, and with operating-system zoom up to 200%.

04

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Photographs of natural stone may carry decorative alternative text that does not capture every visual nuance. Third-party embeds (mapping services, social media) are not under our direct control. We are working to address remaining gaps and welcome reports.

05

Ongoing effort

Digital accessibility is a process, not a destination. As new stone arrivals, journal entries, and pages are published, we review them for accessibility before and after release. Older content is revisited as part of our regular site maintenance.

06

In-person assistance
