Each slab is one of one.
Natural stone is formed over millions of years and no two slabs are identical. Variation in color, veining, pattern, background, movement, and mineral inclusions is inherent to the material and is not a defect.
An important note on variation, photography, samples, and the expectations every client should bring to a slab selection. Please read before placing an order.

02
All images on this website, in printed materials, and on social media are representative only. Lighting, photography, screen calibration, and seasonal quarry conditions affect appearance. The slab you receive will differ — sometimes significantly — from any image shown.
03
Samples viewed in the showroom or sent to a client represent the general character of a stone family but cannot capture the full range of variation present in a full slab. We strongly encourage in-person slab selection at our Los Angeles yard prior to purchase.
04
Slab dimensions and thickness are nominal and subject to small variation between containers. Dimensional measurements are taken at the widest and tallest points; usable area may be less due to natural edges, voids, or fractures common to certain stones.
05
Polished, honed, leathered, Stratos, Petra, and Hard Rock finishes each present the stone differently. Color saturation, vein definition, and reflectivity will vary across finish. Always confirm finish in person.
06
Natural stone requires proper sealing, cleaning, and maintenance to preserve its appearance over time. Royal Stone provides general care guidance on request but is not responsible for staining, etching, or wear resulting from use or improper maintenance.
07
Stone inventory shown on this site or referenced in past communications may no longer be available. Availability is confirmed only by written quotation issued by Royal Stone & Tile at the time of order.
A Note from the Yard
The character of natural stone — its variation, its surprise — is its highest virtue. We invite every client to walk the yard in natural light and select the exact slab they will live with.
