Macaúbas Select is the clean, architectural face of Brazilian quartzite. A bright white field is crossed by soft grey veining that runs on a consistent diagonal — orderly movement that gives the slab a calm, linear rhythm rather than chaotic brecciation. It reads as a white stone first, with just enough structure to stay interesting.
That diagonal grain makes it especially rewarding to lay out. Run the veining in one direction across an island and a backsplash and the kitchen reads as a single composition; book-match it on a wall and the diagonals mirror into a quiet chevron. It is a natural choice for projects that want a white quartzite with discipline — minimalist kitchens, gallery-like baths, clean modern architecture.
“That diagonal grain makes it especially rewarding to lay out.”
As a true quartzite, Macaúbas brings the hardness and etch resistance white marbles cannot, which is what makes a bright white surface practical on a working counter.
This is Lot AO652, chapas 1–8, polished, in the yard on South Sepulveda. Best seen as a set to read the diagonal across multiple slabs.
