Lot ED484 brings Taj Mahal across in one of Antolini's Texture finishes rather than the usual polish or hone. Petra works the surface into a fine, regular combed grain that runs the length of the slab — close enough to read as a soft linen from across a room, tactile enough to feel under the hand. Under it the field stays classic Taj: a warm ivory ground with quiet champagne and taupe drift, none of the green or pink shift that marks the lower grades.

The Petra finish does two things at once. It pulls all the glare out of the stone, so the slab sits matte and calm against plaster, oak, and warm metals, and it gives Taj a depth of texture that a flat hone can't — light catches the comb lines and moves along them rather than bouncing off the face. It is the finish to specify for a feature wall, a fireplace surround, a vanity face, or any vertical run where you want the stone to be felt as much as seen.

Cut at 2cm and measuring 77" × 110", these are working-block slabs — well sized for vanities, feature walls, and bath surrounds, with the height for a full backsplash run. Six slabs are in stock from the single lot, so consecutive faces are available for bookmatched pairs and multi-elevation specifications out of one continuous block.
