Newly landed at South Sepulveda: Ava Stone Dark Paradise, an Italian large-format porcelain in the 63" × 126" jumbo format (roughly 160 × 320 cm) at 1.2cm gauge. Dark Paradise is the bold end of the marble-look program — a deep, near-black ground crossed by bright mineral veining that reads with real depth against the dark field.

Textured finish. The matte, lightly tactile surface holds the drama of the dark ground without the glare of a polish, diffusing light evenly and keeping the veining legible across the full span of the panel. It's slip-resistant enough for floors and pool surrounds while still reading as a refined feature material on walls.

Why this format, in this gauge. 63" × 126" is the working size for large-format porcelain as architectural cladding — full-height shower walls, fireplace surrounds, vanity faces, and integrated furniture. At 1.2cm the panel is light enough to handle as wall material and dense enough to fabricate as a counter with a built-up edge.

Where it belongs. Dramatic kitchens and baths, dark feature walls, and outdoor applications — porcelain is freeze-thaw stable, UV-locked, and needs no sealing. It pairs especially well with warm metals and pale stone for contrast.
