Breccia Capraia Wow marble slab with white ground broken by violet and burgundy breccia over grey veining, polished finish

Breccia Capraia is one of the more characterful Italian breccias, and this 'Wow' selection earns the name. A bright white ground is broken by clasts of violet and burgundy, set into a network of grey vein — the brecciated structure that gives the stone its restless, mineral energy. It sits between the calm of a Calacatta and the full saturation of a Calacatta Viola, which makes it a useful middle path when a project wants colour without going dark.

Polished, the violet and burgundy passages gain depth and the white ground stays crisp, so the contrast reads cleanly across a large surface. It is a natural fit for a feature fireplace, a powder room, or a single statement wall where the brecciation can be appreciated as a whole.

As with all marbles, Capraia will patina with use and should be sealed and treated as a natural surface — a consideration worth weighing where acids and heavy daily wear are in play.

This is Lot YG954, slab 76C, polished. On the floor at our Los Angeles yard and best matched in person if you are booking multiple slabs.
