Carrara White Select Petris Honed Marble Slabs Arrive in Los Angeles
A fresh container of 2cm Carrara White Select Petris honed slabs — 75″ × 129″ — quarried in the Apuan Alps and now on the yard floor at South Sepulveda.

Quarried from the Petris cave above Carrara, this is the quiet white marble that built the Pantheon and a thousand Milanese kitchens — a chalk-white field traced with soft, feathered grey veining. The Select grade is the cleanest extraction from the cave; the field reads even, the veining stays linear, and the slabs lay up cleanly side by side.
Each slab on this lot measures roughly 75″ × 129″ in a 2cm gauge — long enough for an uninterrupted island, full-height shower walls, or a continuous run of perimeter counter. The honed finish reads cooler and chalkier than a polish, hides everyday etching, and pairs naturally with unlacquered brass, oak millwork and limewashed plaster.

The lot is open to walk now at 2303 South Sepulveda. Slabs can be tagged for a project and held for your fabricator anywhere in greater Los Angeles.
