Antolini Patagonia Green quartzite slab with deep emerald-green flanks framing a translucent white-grey core, polished finish

Patagonia Green is the boldest member of the Patagonia family. Deep emerald-green flanks frame a translucent white-grey core, so a single slab reads almost like a landscape — dark, mineral edges opening onto a luminous centre. It is one of the few green quartzites with this much contrast and depth, and it carries a room on its own.

Backlighting is where this slab earns its keep. The translucent core lights up while the green flanks stay dense and shadowed, giving a feature wall or island a sense of real depth. Even unlit, the colour holds under warm interior light, where the green deepens rather than greys out.

Because it is a true quartzite, Patagonia Green is hard, heat-tolerant, and resistant to etching — practical for a kitchen island despite its drama, and ideal for a fireplace surround or a bar front where colour is the brief.

This is Lot AO664, chapas 9–14, polished at 2cm — a matched run, so larger continuous installations are possible while the lot lasts. On the floor at our Los Angeles yard; book a visit to see the core backlit.
