Stone slabs,
for Brentwood.
Honed marble baths, leathered quartzite kitchens, Italian travertine façades and large-format porcelain — the full slab catalog, for Brentwood family compounds, canyon residences and flat-lot remodels. Fifteen minutes from San Vicente.

On Brentwood
Brentwood projects tend to be longer-form than Beverly Hills — family compounds with three baths, a primary, a kitchen, often a pool house and a guest. The brief is rarely one slab; it is a full material program for a whole house.
Mandeville Canyon, Riviera Country Club, the flats around San Vicente, the streets above Sunset — Brentwood specifies across the catalog. Honed Calacatta for primary baths. Leathered quartzite for the working kitchen. Italian travertine, vein-cut, for façades and feature walls. Large-format porcelain for the outdoor kitchen and pool surround. We carry all of it on the yard, fifteen minutes from any Brentwood address, so the project can be specified across one walk rather than four.
In Practice
How the work
tends to go.
- The Brentwood family-compound brief
- A typical Brentwood project pulls four or five materials across the program. Honed Calacatta for the primary bath and an adjacent powder. Leathered Taj Mahal or Super White for the working kitchen island. Italian travertine, honed or vein-cut, for the façade and exterior cladding. Italian porcelain for the outdoor kitchen and pool deck. We coordinate the material program with the designer up front so the holds line up with the construction schedule.
- On leathered finishes
- Leathered quartzite has become the Brentwood working-kitchen default. The texture hides fingerprints and water marks, the finish reads soft rather than reflective, and the durability is what working families need. We finish in-house through our partners — the slab is selected at the yard in raw form, then routed to the leathering schedule the designer needs.
- On travertine for façades and walls
- Brentwood architecture supports travertine more than Beverly Hills does — the lower-slung, Mediterranean-leaning homes especially. Antolini Platinum Travertine, vein-cut, leathered. Classic Roman travertine, honed. Silver travertine for darker palettes. Stocked on the yard, walked in natural light, and finished to the architect specification.
- On project coordination
- Long-form Brentwood projects move on the GC schedule, not the slab availability schedule. We hold the selected slabs for the project, document the holds, and coordinate delivery against the construction calendar. Holds are honest — the slab is set aside, photographed for the file, and removed from circulation until installation week.
