Proposition 65

This warning is provided pursuant to California Health & Safety Code § 25249.6, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65).

This warning applies at Stone Supplies, Inc. dba Royal Stone locations in Los Angeles:

• Slab Yard & Showroom — 2303 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064.
• Indoor Warehouse — Pontius facility, West Los Angeles.
• Customer sites where Royal Stone is the supplier during delivery, installation, or finishing work.

The warning applies whenever a visitor walks among slabs being moved or set, observes on-site fabrication, cutting, grinding, or polishing, or receives a sample in an area where dust may be present.

Natural stone — granite, marble, quartzite, onyx, travertine, limestone — and engineered or quartz slabs may contain crystalline silica. Cutting, breaking, grinding, sanding, or polishing these materials can generate fine airborne silica dust. Prolonged inhalation of respirable crystalline silica is associated with silicosis and lung cancer and is listed under Proposition 65 as a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer.

Certain finished slabs may also contain trace levels of other Proposition 65-listed substances, including naturally occurring heavy metals present in some stone families and binders used in engineered or quartz products.

Royal Stone applies the following controls during yard, showroom, and warehouse operations:

• Wet-suppression and local exhaust ventilation during any cutting, polishing, or fabrication.
• Respiratory protection (N95 or better), eye protection, and cut-resistant gloves for staff performing dusty work, consistent with Cal/OSHA § 5204 silica standards.
• Routine housekeeping with HEPA-filtered equipment, sealed containers, and designated walk paths.
• Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for relevant materials, available on request via our contact form.

To minimize exposure during a yard or showroom visit:

• Stay clear of any active cutting, fabrication, or grinding area. Our team will route you around these zones during your visit.
• Ask staff in advance about the cleanest walking path if you have respiratory sensitivities. N95 masks are available at the front desk on request.
• Wash hands before eating or drinking after leaving the yard, and consider removing outdoor shoes before entering your vehicle.
