Forty slabs of Select-grade Taj Mahal from Antolini block AO887 came off the truck this week, cut 2cm at 78" × 131" with a leather finish across the full face. AO887 reads paler and quieter than the EF259 leather lot already on the floor — a near-white ivory ground with soft horizontal drift and minimal mineral veining, closer to the look designers ask for when they say "calm Taj."
Leather Taj Mahal carries the same maintenance behavior as honed — sealed, acid-tolerant, kitchen-honest — with a tactile, low-sheen surface that hides water spotting and fingerprints. It is the finish we recommend for outdoor kitchens, primary baths, and master island tops that live with daily use.

With AO887 on the floor alongside the EF259 leather lot, the honed 78×130 lot, and the polished 78×130 lot, Royal Stone is now carrying eighty-two leather Taj Mahal slabs and one hundred and forty-eight Taj Mahal Select slabs total — the deepest single-variety quartzite inventory in Los Angeles this season. Designers specifying a calmer leather field for a primary bath can pull from AO887; spec'ing the more characterful drift of EF259 stays available on the same walk.
