A new shipment of Antolini Explosion Blue quartzite has arrived at the Royal Stone yard in Los Angeles. These slabs are from lot EF546, cut at 2cm, finished honed, and measuring 75″ × 126″.

The slab moves in long horizontal layers of silver-blue and soft gray, crossed by broad cream bands and subtle pale green passages. Fine parallel lines give the surface a topographic rhythm, while the honed finish keeps the color soft and architectural in direct daylight.

From the slab arrival,

Explosion Blue works especially well where the full movement can remain visible: large islands, feature walls, fireplace surrounds, bar fronts, and carefully planned bookmatched compositions. Slab orientation and seam placement should follow the stone’s strong directional flow.
