Henraux quarries some of the most measured travertine coming out of Tuscany. This slab is read along the bedding plane — long linear currents of ivory broken open by a wider band of natural cavity work near the center. Unfilled, so the porosity stays honest; sandblasted, so the surface is matte and quiet rather than slick.
“The slab is 76″ × 123″ — large enough for full kitchen runs, exterior cladding, or a vein-running fireplace wall.”
The slab is 76″ × 123″ — large enough for full kitchen runs, exterior cladding, or a vein-running fireplace wall. Unfilled travertine reads differently in raking light than in flat overhead light; we recommend walking it in both conditions before placing.
Now in the yard at 2303 South Sepulveda.
