Patagonia Quartzite,
in Los Angeles.

A Brazilian quartzite composed at the scale of a landscape — dense ivory, mineral-green formations, clear crystal, and amber linework held inside one slab. Select passages become luminous when light is placed behind them.

On Patagonia

No. 02.3

Quarried in Brazil and selected through Antolini Brazil. Stocked in polished, honed, leathered, and sculptural finishes by lot.

Patagonia is defined by contrast rather than a single field colour. Dense stone and clear crystalline passages meet inside the same slab, separated by graphite, amber, rust, green, and occasional jade mineral seams. Every block has its own composition; the lot number matters as much as the variety name.

Vitrum is the translucent register of the family. In daylight, the crystalline body reads icy white against warmer ivory and mineral formations. Under a backlight test, the clearest passages glow while the denser sections remain grounded, allowing the slab to be designed as both stone and light.

Polished Patagonia works across statement islands, bar fronts, vanities, fireplace surrounds, and full-height feature walls. For illuminated work, the exact light placement should be tested against the selected slab before fabrication so the glow follows the natural crystalline passages.
