Patagonia Green is the boldest member of the Patagonia family. Deep emerald-green flanks frame a translucent white-gray core, so a single slab reads almost like a landscape — dark, mineral edges opening onto a luminous center. It is one of the few green quartzites with this much contrast and depth, and it carries a room on its own.

Backlighting is where this slab earns its keep. The translucent core lights up while the green flanks stay dense and shadowed, giving a feature wall or island a sense of real depth. Even unlit, the color holds under warm interior light, where the green deepens rather than greys out.

Patagonia Green brings dramatic color to islands, fireplace surrounds and bar fronts. Performance, porosity and sealing requirements vary by the individual stone, quarry and finish, so suitability should be confirmed for the intended use.

This is Lot AO664, chapas 9–14, polished at 2cm — a matched run, so larger continuous installations are possible while the lot lasts. On the floor at our Los Angeles yard; book a visit to see the core backlit.
