Royal Stone is a working slab yard and showroom, built around full-slab selection rather than a conventional retail sales floor. Designers walk the racks; slabs are tagged by lot and date; deposits hold them for the project; we ship nationwide on our own A-frames.

Sourcing
Hand-selecting in Italy
Twice a year Rodney and the buying team fly to Verona and Carrara to walk the warehouses alongside our mill partners. Every slab on our racks was chosen in person — pattern, vein movement, and bookmatch potential scored before it ever leaves the quarry floor.

Continuity
Established December 2, 1996
Stone Supplies, Inc. dba Royal Stone was established on December 2, 1996. The same hands buy, slab-handle, and counsel designers on what will actually work in their project. Continuity is the point.

Trade
Working with architects
We speak the language of drawings and specifications. Send us elevations and a finish schedule and we will return takeoff slabs, BM (book-match) layouts, and viable alternatives within a working day. RC papers, Hon. AIA presentations, and bid-spec sets are all in our weekly flow.

Detailing
Bookmatching expertise
Cristallo Cobalt, Calacatta Monet, Patagonia — any slab that is an open book, we will read it. Bring a sketch, and we will layout the mirror in the yard, photograph it under raking light, and number every leaf and header so the fabrication shop gets pieces in correct sequence.

Specifying
Designer support
Showroom appointments, on-site consultations, finish samples, off-cut and remnant programs for set-designers, and trade pricing across our full collection. Designers who specify Royal Stone get a direct line to the slab yard — not a sales rep passing messages downstream.

Logistics
Limited release, nationwide shipping
Single-container inventory per stone. What is in the yard today is on the racks in the yard today, and when it is gone it is not coming back this season. Royal Stone coordinates delivery throughout Southern California through trusted transportation partners and ships nationwide upon request.

Programs
Reservation policy with deposit
A 25 % deposit reserves a slab or full set for 30 days; 50 % reserves it for 90 days. Paid material must be picked up within 30 days; a $100 monthly storage fee applies afterward.

Service
Photography service
Every hold comes with a free single-slab photograph set under our raking-light rig — five angles, full reveal, and a vein-marked detail. For features and bookmatch installs, our photographer will come to the job site and the yard. Designer-ready files drop within 48 hours.

Five steps, no surprises. Every project moves through the same milestones whether the slab count is one or forty.

Inquiry
Send drawings, finish schedule, and approximate budget. We respond same-day with stone options and slab dimensions.

Selection
Walk the yard by appointment or video-call our slab tech from the racks. We mark holds and build a layout when needed.

Hold
Place a 25 % or 50 % deposit. We photograph every held slab under raking light and send a complete file set within 48 hours.

Reserve & Release
A 25 % deposit holds a slab for 30 days, 50 % for 90. Holds that drop out return to inventory — the yard stays clean and the next client sees accurate availability.

Managed Reservations
Deposit-backed reservations follow the 30- or 90-day term on the order, and paid material has a 30-day pickup window before monthly storage charges begin.

Direct Yard Access
Designers walk the racks the same morning they call. Monday - Friday only 8 am until 430 but always check availability
