Quarried in Tivoli, Italy and selected through Antolini’s Black Label program. Leathered and Stratos create two different ways to hold the same linear Platinum register.
Platinum is travertine reduced to line and proportion. Vein cutting presents the bedding plane as long cream and silver bands, so the slab reads as layered geology rather than as a cloudy field. The Black Label selection keeps that register even and deliberate across the face.
Leathered softens the surface with a low-sheen hand; Stratos adds finer linear texture and emphasizes the striations. Filled lots bring a more continuous working face, while unfilled versions keep the natural cavities available for a more open, vugged composition.
Use Platinum for a fireplace surround, full-height cladding, primary bath, entry wall, dining table or kitchen where the room wants classical material with contemporary discipline. Bring the finish board; the surface is part of the decision, not an afterthought.
