TraOnyx is the commercial name for the small family of stones that sit between travertine and onyx — calcareous bodies with the linear bedding of travertine and the partial translucency of onyx. Synergy Rainbow Creme is the warm end of that family: a cream-to-pale-taupe field crossed by fine horizontal banding in soft caramel and oxidized rose, with the occasional translucent pocket where the stone reads as true onyx.
“Cut at roughly 71" × 113", the slab is sized for fireplace surrounds, bar tops, powder vanities, or full-height bath wall cladding.”
Leathered. The leather finish reads almost matte while still catching enough light to hint at the translucency underneath — the right finish for a project that wants the warmth and depth of onyx without the high-gloss formality of a polish. Cut at roughly 71" × 113", the slab is sized for fireplace surrounds, bar tops, powder vanities, or full-height bath wall cladding.
TraOnyx is softer than quartzite and harder than typical onyx — usable on light-duty horizontals as well as walls. On the floor in Los Angeles.
