Taj Mahal is the working-stone pearl quartzite most American kitchens and primary baths reach for — warm cream and pearl ground, soft sage and gold veining drawn across the field at the level of natural patina. The Antolini Select program pulls the family’s cleanest register: the field reads even and the veining flows softly across the slab. Block AO887 is a textbook.

At 78″ × 131″, AO887 cuts a standard kitchen island as a single piece, with no seam line and no break in the field. 40 slabs on the floor right now is enough to walk a full selection across the room — match register, lay out which slab becomes the island and which becomes the bath surround. Leather keeps the cream register matte, hides the small etching that working natural stone picks up, and lets the slab sit quietly under pendant lighting.

The right Taj Mahal for the room where the slab is meant to be the material rather than the statement. Pair with rift oak millwork, unlacquered brass, lime plaster, or a Calacatta elsewhere in the house as the counterpoint.
