Rosso Alba · Fluted

The fluted register.

Quarried in Italy. Cut through the Rosso Alba block into Antolini-style architectural flutes.

The Antolini 3D-fluted treatment cuts linear ribs along the face of the slab — sculptural, directional, modern. Rosso Alba in fluted register is one of the family’s strongest statements: warm red marble gathering light into each rib, casting shadow along each groove, the slab behaving as architectural relief rather than just material on a wall.

At 66″ × 126″, the slab sizes for feature walls, fireplace surrounds, and entry compositions. The flutes run lengthwise along the slab so the texture reads architecturally when the slab is mounted vertically. Honed keeps the surface quiet enough for the ribs to do the work without competing reflection.

The right marble for the room where the slab is meant to read as architectural relief. Pair with light oak, brass, plaster, travertine, and one calmer Calacatta elsewhere as the counterpoint — let the slab carry the composition.

One Finish · Honed, Fluted

Fluted,
to make Rosso architectural relief.

The 3D-fluted treatment dresses the Rosso Alba slab in linear ribs carved along the face. Honed keeps the surface matte enough that the ribs gather light and cast shadow without competing reflection — the slab behaves as architectural relief, not as material catching glare.

The right surface for feature walls, fireplace surrounds, entry compositions, and any application where Rosso is meant to read as architectural detail.

Fluted Rosso, matte, sculptural

Linear ribs along the face turn Rosso Alba from colour-on-slabs into architectural relief. Each rib catches light and casts shadow; the slab behaves as texture as much as colour. Honed keeps the ribs reading even under directional gallery lighting and daylight.

Common Questions

Questions,answered.

What is Rosso Alba 3D Fluted marble?
The Rosso Alba register — a warm Italian red marble with cream and ivory veining — cut through the Antolini 3D-fluting treatment. Linear ribs along the slab face turn the slab from colour-on-stone into architectural relief. 2cm honed fluted, 66″ × 126″.
How is Rosso Alba Fluted different from regular Rosso Alba?
Same slab, different surface. Regular Rosso Alba is the clean Calacatta-style marble ready for islands, bath walls, and fireplace surrounds. The 3D Fluted treatment turns the slab into textured architectural relief — meant for feature walls, fireplace surrounds, and entry compositions where the slab is meant to read as architectural detail rather than material.
Where does Rosso Alba 3D Fluted work best?
In the room where the slab is meant to read as architectural relief. A feature wall, a fireplace surround, an entry composition, a headboard wall, a statement bar front. Mount vertically and let the ribs gather light and cast shadow.
Can the 3D fluting be cut to a custom pattern?
Yes — the Antolini 3D texture program includes fluting, channeling, bush-hammered treatment, and custom relief cuts. Speak with us about the layout you have in mind and we will lay out the available texture options against the slab on the floor.
What are Antolini fluted marbles best paired with?
Light oak millwork, brushed brass, lime plaster, travertine, and one calmer Calacatta elsewhere in the house for counterpoint. The texture needs the architecture to be restful around it.
How do I see Rosso Alba 3D Fluted in person?
Royal Stone is at 2303 South Sepulveda Boulevard, West Los Angeles. Designers and private clients are welcome by appointment Monday through Friday. Call (310) 477-3223 and we will pull the slab for you.

The fluted Rosso reads more architectural in person than in any photograph — the ribs gather light and cast shadow in a way a photo flattens. We’d rather pull the slab and walk you through than describe it.
