Block YG627

The blush translucent.

Quarried in Brazil and selected through the Antolini Cristallo Baby Rose program.

Cristallo Baby Rose is the faintest pink register of the Antolini translucent family — crystalline quartzite drawn for the softest blush pass across the body. Honed keeps the register quiet and matte; polished would push the surface toward reflective and exaggerate the pink. The slab is meant for primary baths and contemporary interiors where the brief is softer rather than dramatic.

At 78″ × 136″, Block YG627 sizes for full-height primary bath walls, contemporary kitchen spans, dining tables, and bar fronts. 78″ × 136″ cuts a standard working kitchen span as a single slab. Honed forgives everyday etching and lets the slabs read sweetly against contemporary interiors.

The right Cristallo for the room where the brief is feminine and the slab is meant to live quietly. Pair with plaster, limewash, white oak, brushed brass, and a quieter cooler marble elsewhere as the counterpoint. Runs beautifully as a primary bath composition, a contemporary kitchen span, a powder room, and a dining table.

One Finish · Honed

Honed,
to keep the blush quiet.

Block YG627 ships honed. The blush register is calibrated to a soft matte surface. Polished would push the pink toward reflective and exaggerate the register; leather would soften the body. Honed keeps the surface contemporary and forgiving.

The right surface for primary baths, contemporary kitchen spans, dining tables, and any application where the slab is meant to register quietly.

Blush translucent, matte, softer

Honing keeps the Baby Rose register even quieter. The slab sits calmly against plaster, limewash, white oak, brushed brass, and blackened steel — and the patina that develops with use reads as part of the blush rather than wear.

Common Questions

Questions,answered.

What is Antolini Cristallo Baby Rose quartzite?
Baby Rose is the blush register of the Antolini Cristallo translucent quartzite family — pale pink crystalline stone drawn for the softest blush pass across the body. Block YG627 ships at 2cm honed, 78″ × 136″. The translucent body still reads as quartzite under everyday lighting; the blush becomes the event when the slab is lit from behind.
Is Block YG627 available in polished or leather?
By special order. The slab ships honed, calibrated to keep the blush quiet and soft. Polished pushes the pink toward reflective; leather would soften the crystalline body. Bring drawings and we will lay the options against the honed slab on the floor.
Where does Baby Rose work best?
In the room where the brief is feminine and the slab is meant to live quietly. A primary bath composed entirely of stone, a contemporary kitchen span, a dining table, a powder room, a bar front. Pair with plaster, limewash, white oak, brushed brass, and a quieter cooler marble elsewhere as counterpoint.
How is Baby Rose different from other Cristallo variants?
All Cristallo is translucent crystalline quartzite. Baby Rose pulls the family’s faintest blush register — the soft pink pass is what differentiates it from Cobalt Blue Zaffiro (deep cobalt), Etrusco (amber and cream), Lumix (refined neutral), Traslux Classic (icy white), Tiffany Jade (green-tinged), and Tropicale (warmer tropical).
Can Block YG627 be bookmatched?
Bookmatched Baby Rose is quote-on-request. The slab ships as a single piece; depending on the block we can sometimes lay out a matched pair. For larger layouts a quote-on-request will tell you whether matched sets are available.
How do I see Block YG627 in person?

The blush register reads softer and more contemporary in person than in any photograph — the slab is meant to live as material rather than ornament. We’d rather pull the slab and walk you through than describe it.
