Block IYA364

The warm Cristallo.

Quarried in Brazil and selected through the Antolini Cristallo Etrusco program.

Cristallo Etrusco is the warm register of the Antolini Cristallo family — translucent crystalline quartzite where the body reads amber and cream rather than ice. Polished saturates the crystals and brings out the Etrusco warmth; the slab behaves as drawn glass under daylight and backlighting alike.

At 78″ × 136″, Block IYA364 sizes for working kitchen islands as a single piece, full-height bath walls composed entirely of stone, and bar fronts. 28 slabs is enough to walk a full selection — match register, lay out which slabs become the island and which go to the bath. Polished is the right surface for the Etrusco register.

The right Cristallo for the room where warmth is in the brief and the slab is meant to read as gold-flecked glass. Pair with antique brass, walnut, lime plaster, and a quiet cooler Calacatta elsewhere in the house as the counterpoint. Runs beautifully as a statement island, a primary bath composition, a bar front, or a backlit feature panel.

One Finish · Polished

Polished,
to saturate the Etrusco gold.

Block IYA364 ships polished. The Etrusco warmth reads at full saturation in the polished finish — leather or honed would mute the amber and lose the gold register. Polished is the right surface for statement installations and backlit compositions.

The right surface for statement kitchen islands, primary bath composition, fireplace surrounds, backlit feature panels, and bar fronts.

Warm translucent quartzite, satiny, glowing

Polishing brings the Etrusco warmth to full saturation. The amber and cream register reads as drawn gold under any lighting — daylight, gallery lamps, and especially when the slab is lit from behind. Pair with restrained architecture and let the slab carry the composition.

Common Questions

Questions,answered.

What is Antolini Cristallo Etrusco quartzite?
Cristallo Etrusco is the warm register of the Antolini Cristallo family — translucent crystalline quartzite pulled for amber and cream tones rather than the icy-white registers of regular Cristallo. Block IYA364 ships at 2cm polished, 78″ × 136″, 28 slabs on the floor.
How much Cristallo Etrusco is in the yard?
Block IYA364 carries 28 slabs at 78″ × 136″ × 2cm polished. Enough for a full selection across a working project.
Is Block IYA364 available in leather or honed?
By special order. The slab ships polished, calibrated to keep the Etrusco warmth at full saturation. Honed or leather mutes the amber and pulls the register toward neutral. Bring drawings and we will lay the options against the polished lot.
How is Etrusco different from regular Cristallo?
Both are translucent crystalline quartzite. Regular Cristallo carries icy whites, dramatic veinings, and Vitrum/Dual dramatic cuts. Etrusco pulls the family’s warmest register — amber and cream tones, gentler patterns — best suited to be the room rather than the focal point of it.
Can Block IYA364 be bookmatched?
Bookmatched Cristallo Etrusco is available on selected blocks. With 28 slabs in the yard we can usually lay out matched pairs; for larger layouts a quote-on-request will tell you whether matched sets are available at the size.
