Lot ED867

The Lumix register.

Quarried in Brazil and selected through the Antolini Cristallo Lumix program.

Cristallo is the rarest member of the quartzite family — a stone whose recrystallized silica passages run effectively translucent. Lumix pulls the family’s cleanest register, the slab selected for the most refined pulled surface and the cleanest light-read across the body. Leather finishes the surface for contemporary working interiors.

At 76″ × 125″, ED867 sizes for a statement island, a backlit feature panel, or a primary bath composition. The translucent body can be lit from behind, in which case Lumix glows like drawn glass. Leather is the right finish for working kitchens and quiet baths where the slab is meant to register as material under any lighting.

The right Cristallo for the room where translucency is in the brief but the slab is also meant to live without backlighting by default. Pair with plaster, limewash, brushed steel, and a quieter marble elsewhere as the counterpoint. Runs beautifully as a contemporary kitchen island, a primary bath composition, a bar front, or a feature wall lightbox.

One Finish · Leather

Leather,
to keep Cristallo matte and working.

Lot ED867 ships in Antolini leather. The translucent body still reads as quartzite under everyday lighting — leather keeps the surface matte and contemporary, hides the small etching of working natural stone, and lets the slab sit calmly against any architecture. The translucency becomes the event when you light it from behind.

The right surface for working kitchens, primary baths, fireplace surrounds, and any application where translucency is in the brief but daily life is also in the brief.

Translucent quartzite, matte, working

Leather keeps the Lumix surface quiet and contemporary under daylight — and unlocks the translucency when the slab is lit from behind. Pair with brushed steel and plastered walls; the stone behaves as material by day and as glass by night.

Common Questions

Questions,answered.

What is Antolini Cristallo Lumix quartzite?
Cristallo Lumix is the refinement of Antolini’s Cristallo program — translucent crystalline quartzite cut for the most refined pulled-register surface and cleanest light-read across the body. Lot ED867 ships at 2cm leather, 76″ × 125″. The translucency becomes the event when you light it from behind.
Is Lot ED867 available in polished or honed?
By special order. The slab ships at leather, calibrated to keep Cristallo matte and contemporary under daylight. Polished saturates the quartz crystals and reads brilliantly backlit; honed quietens the surface to a chalk. Bring drawings and we will lay the options against the leather lot on the floor.
How is Lumix different from regular Cristallo?
Both are translucent crystalline quartzite. Regular Cristallo carries the most dramatic surface patterns, suited to backlit statement installations. Lumix pulls the family’s cleanest register — refined pulled surface and calm body — so the slab behaves as material under daylight and as glass under backlighting.
Is Lumix good for a working kitchen island?
Yes. Leather is the most forgiving finish on working natural stone, and the matte surface lets the slab sit calmly under pendant lighting. The translucency is available if you choose to light the slab from behind, in which case it becomes the focal point of the island.
Can Lot ED867 be bookmatched?
Bookmatched Cristallo is available on selected blocks. Lot ED867 ships as a single slab; pairs and matched sets are quote-on-request.
How do I see Lot ED867 in person?
Royal Stone is at 2303 South Sepulveda Boulevard, West Los Angeles. Designers and private clients are welcome by appointment Monday through Friday. Call (310) 477-3223 and we will pull the slab for you.

Lumix reads differently under daylight than under backlight — the slab behaves as material by day and as glass by night. We have a lightbox at the yard so you can see both. Call ahead and we’ll have the slab pulled.
