Bassi Italy

The architectural breccia.

Quarried by Bassi in Italy. Cut for the deepest rose and mauve register, with the white quartz seam held as figure rather than as decoration.

Fusion Red Revolution is the brecciated quartzite in its architectural register — a deep mauve-rose and dusty-pink field shattered by pale-rose fragments and run through at the lower edge by a single striking white quartz seam. The colour sits between Antolini Revolution (its brick-red predecessor) and Fusion Blue Wow (its cooler cousin): darker than rose pink, deeper than grey breccia, the architectural red register the Fusion family will hold.

At 78″ × 130″, the slab reads at scale — sized for a kitchen island, a primary bath composed entirely of stone, a fireplace wall, or a feature entry. Honed keeps the breccia matte and the rose register architectural; the white seam reads as material at any scale. The right call for statements that are meant to hold colour under inspection.

The right quartzite when the brief calls for warmth in stone and the slab is meant to lead the room rather than blend in. Pair with brass, travertine, lime plaster, and one quieter Calacatta elsewhere as counterpoint. Runs beautifully as an island, a primary bath clad entirely in stone, an entry floor, or a fireplace surround where the architecture is built around the slab.

One Finish · Honed

Honed,
to keep the rose register architectural.

Fusion Red Revolution ships honed. The deep rose register is calibrated to a matte architectural surface — polished pushes the breccia toward gloss and loses the serious-interior register. Honing also lets the white quartz seam read as material rather than as reflection, which is almost always the right call when the slab is meant to retain its colour at scale.

The right surface for kitchen islands, full-height bath walls, fireplace surrounds, and any application where the rose breccia is meant to lead the room rather than decorate it.

Deep rose breccia, matte, architectural

Honing keeps the Fusion Red register architectural. The breccia reads as material, the rose sits with weight against warm metals and lighter stone counterpoint, and the matte surface forgives everyday use. The right surface for a deep-rose statement stone that means to register as architecture.

Common Questions

Questions,answered.

What is Fusion Red Revolution quartzite?
Fusion Red Revolution is a Bassi Italy brecciated quartzite with a deep mauve-rose to dusty-pink field shattered by pale-rose fragments and cut through by a striking white quartz seam. Sits between Antolini Revolution (a brick-red predecessor) and Fusion Blue Wow (a cooler cousin) — the architectural rose register the Fusion family will hold.
Is Fusion Red Revolution available in polished?
By special order. The slab ships at honed, calibrated to keep the rose breccia register architectural. Polished Fusion Red loses the matte architectural register and pushes the colour toward gloss. Honed is the right call for most applications; bring drawings and we will lay the options out on the floor.
Where does Fusion Red Revolution work best?
In the room where the brief calls for a deep-rose statement stone and the slab is meant to lead. A kitchen island where the breccia is supposed to anchor the room, a primary bath clad entirely in stone, a fireplace surround, a hotel bar front. Pair with brass, travertine, lime plaster, and one quieter Calacatta elsewhere as counterpoint.
How is Fusion Red Revolution different from Antolini Revolution or Fusion Blue Wow?
Antolini Revolution is a brick-red field with cinematic diagonal banding. Fusion Blue Wow is the cooler cousin in the Fusion programme — topaz crystal blue and cream movement. Fusion Red Revolution is deeper and more architectural — rose and mauve breccia with a white quartz seam. The right call when the brief is rose colour, not blue or brick red.
Can Fusion Red Revolution be bookmatched?
Bookmatched Fusion Red Revolution is available on selected blocks. The slab ships as a single piece; matched pairs and larger compositions are quote-on-request.
How do I see Fusion Red Revolution in person?
Royal Stone is at 2303 South Sepulveda Boulevard, West Los Angeles. Designers and private clients are welcome by appointment Monday through Friday. Call (310) 477-3223 and we will pull the slab for you.

The Fusion Red register reads deeper and more architectural in person than in any photograph — the breccia runs richer than photographs suggest and the honed surface settles the colour into a matte weight. We’d rather pull the slab and walk you through than describe the rose.
